RARE CHILD’S JELLY CUPBOARD
Wonderful, child size miniature one drawer jelly cupboard, in original Spanish Brown paint. Double, beaded doors, with shelved interior. Set on a cutout shaped base with lunette sides, boldly overhanging top with incised, shaped gallery and backsplash. All original condition, including hardware. Square nailed construction, pine, probably midwest origin, circa 1840. Very good, untouched condition.
Size; 20″H overall, 12″W X 12 1/4″D case.

VERY RARE PILGRIM CENTURY LIGHTING STAND, RI OR CT ORIGIN
Exceptionally rare, untouched original Pilgrim Century tripod base adjustable double socket lighting stand. Wonderful survivor, with all original elements. Massive rosehead nails secure the rear two legs. Chestnut “seat” and standard, Red Oak candle arm, Hard Pine legs, rolled iron candle cups. Original unpainted “attic” surface. Height adjuster peg, on standard, is early replacement, ancient crack in “seat” board, all else excellent. A very rare lighting stand, C 1670 – 1720.

EXCEPTIONAL, RARE, CT RIVER VALLEY TAVERN TABLE
Great, very rare serpentine top cherry and tiger maple tavern table. Small size, with boldly overhanging scrolled and chamfered pegged cherry top, in dark, nutty natural surface. Tiger maple base, with beaded legs, pegged to deep, beaded apron, in early, dry black paint, over the original red stain. Excellent, all original, untouched surfaces (an early leather “shim” added to bottom of one leg, to level table, at floor). These shaped top designs were created only in the central CT River Valley, MASS. Excellent condition throughout, C 1760-80.

EXCEPTIONAL CHILD’S PAINTED WINDSOR ARMCHAIR
The BEST scaled and proportioned child’s Sackback Windsor Armchair !!! A PERFECTLY AND EXPERTLY SCALED EXAMPLE, superbly refined, in every aspect of construction. Finely tapered swelled and splayed back spindles pierce the perfectly shaped and tapered, raked, tall upper bow. Well formed, outward scrolled arms, bulbous turned arm supports, with sharply chamfered, scooped saddle seat, joined to well splayed, boldly turned baluster and reel turned legs, with high mounted bulbous stretchers. No breaks or repairs. The chair is completely intact, in excellent condition, with numerous color paint history, ending with an early dry, crusty dark mustard surface. New England origin, probably CONN, C 1780. No doubt always a prized possession.

SPLASHY PAINTED BOOTJACK END BENCH
Early, well developed bench, with beautiful bootjack and scrolled, shaped legs, mortised through to scrubbed top seating surface, with fantastic mellow wear, joined by canted, beaded edge side aprons. Early, dry, crusty, celery green surface, over the original putty colored base coat. Excellent mellow patina, with great, well cared for, wear. Fabulous example of a very hard to find item, especially in this size. PENNA origin, pine, C 1820. Excellent condition.
