EARLY PINE AND MAPLE DEMILUNE TABLE.

Wonderful, classic, circa 1820 demilune table, exhibiting the best of proportion, design, and craftsmanship. Thin, dramatically overhanging single board pine top, supported by tenoned maple frame and pegged, nicely tapered legs. Original Indian Red paint, in excellent condition. Very early, fitted with a drop leaf, only evidence of which are insignificant hinge marks at rear, underside of top (not visible in normal view). Rarely found example of rural craftsmanship, displaying exceptional form.

RARE CHILD’S JELLY CUPBOARD

Wonderful, child size miniature one drawer jelly cupboard, in original Spanish Brown paint. Double, beaded doors, with shelved interior. Set on a cutout shaped base with lunette sides, boldly overhanging top with incised, shaped gallery and backsplash. All original condition, including hardware. Square nailed construction, pine, probably midwest origin, circa 1840. Very good, untouched condition.

Size; 20″H overall, 12″W X 12 1/4″D case.
